The Sierra Leone Digital Transformation Project (SLDTP) continues to strengthen the capacity of public sector professionals to deliver effective and inclusive digital services.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTI), the project supported two major training programs on Digital Service Standards (DSS) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) for 100 ICT personnel across government institutions.
The Digital Service Standards training focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to design digital services that are consistent, user-friendly, and compliant with data protection and accessibility requirements. Participants explored service design principles, performance and scalability, and governance frameworks that promote uniformity across all government digital platforms.
The Enterprise Architecture training introduced frameworks and methodologies that help government agencies align their ICT systems with national strategies. Participants gained practical skills in business, information, and technology architecture to improve efficiency, promote interoperability, and ensure technology investments support organizational goals.

Speaking during the sessions, representatives from MoCTI highlighted that these trainings form part of ongoing efforts to establish a Standards and Compliance Unit that will oversee the implementation of digital government service standards across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
Through these capacity-building initiatives, Sierra Leone is taking another significant step toward building a digital government that is efficient, secure, and inclusive.
The SLDTP remains committed to supporting the Government of Sierra Leone in creating an enabling environment for digital innovation and improving the quality of public service delivery.
